Suzy Kolber (born Suzanne Lisa Kolber) was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on May 14, 1964. Her parents are Jewish. The age she is now is 58 years old. Sandra Kolber is her mother and Gene Kolber is her father. She attended Sandy Run Middle School, Dresher Pennsylvania. In 1982 she graduated from Upper Dublin High School. In 1986, she received a Bachelor of Arts with a focus on telecommunications from University of Miami. As a freshman in college and was offered a position at Dynamic Cable as their Sports Director. In addition working at the company for two more seasons between 1984 and 1986. She was also a member of the University of Miami water skiing team in this period. Plaza was involved in Wilmington community theatre as when she was a young person, and performed improv, staged one-act plays, and was involved in other activities. She moved from Wilmington to New York City after high school, where she took classes in the production of television and film at the New York University Tisch School of the Arts and took classes in comedy and improv at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. A stroke caused her to suffer temporary expressive paraphasia in her 20s. old.
